Hridaya yoga is a way of receiving the divine benefits of yoga in the modern world through practical hatha yoga. Hridaya means "soul" in Sanskrit. HRI means "giving", DA means "receiving," YA (yam) means "balance," and the literal meaning is "a state of balance between giving and receiving." It is also the breath that sustains life in perfect balance, giving with the exhaling breath and receiving with the inhaling breath. Hridaya yoga means the yoga of understanding the soul (an ideal balance of life) through the breath (hatha yoga).

Takao Hiraoka

He was born in Osaka Prefecture. When he was a student at Kobe University, he had the opportunity to experience live performances at a jazz bar in the Sannomiya Motomachi neighborhood and became fascinated by jazz. After graduating, he moved to Tokyo and started performing. In addition to jazz, he also devoted himself to soul and funk and studied under Tetsuya Taisen to learn jazz theory and guitar playing techniques while honing his playing skills. Currently, in jazz bars, cafes, and restaurants, mainly in Kanagawa and Tokyo, he performs in a band style with various parts such as vocals, wind instruments, bass, and drums. Also, he performs solo performances with a single guitar.
